Program was held via teleconference hook-up from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Other members of the panel: Dr. Robert A. Brusca, chief economist and senior vice president of Nikko Securities Co, International; and Dr. Lacey Hunt, chief economist of Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corporation Securities. Topics discussed included various aspects of the macro-economic environment and financial markets, such as prospects for inflation, Federal Reserve System's policies, and interest rates. The CME Rountables were developed in response to media requests for access to economic and market experts.
